UBS is a multinational investment bank and financial services company founded and based in Switzerland. The bank's principal activities include personal and corporate banking, investment banking, wealth management, and asset management. UBS operates in over 50 countries and from all major international financial centers. UBS has been in Malaysia since 1989, and was one of the few global investment banks that remained in Malaysia during the Asian financial crisis.
