Your Role
You’ll join a role in Trust, Data & Resilience team and this could be in any one of the following areas. Here are the brief descriptions of each of these business functions and roles you might join in.
Resilience
Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR) is a key element of the broader Recovery and Resolution Planning to eliminate the problem of “Too Big to Fail” Banks. OCIR & managing Financial Managing Infrastructure (FMI) aims to ensure that in a Resolution Scenario, the bank can run on in an orderly fashion without negatively impacting the financial system or the wider economy of the countries we operate
- Understand data sources for key attributes for OCIR and FMI and how to depict for better insights
- Support in delivery and contribute to data analysis for identifying risk areas, defining risk parameters, and helping design metrics for monitoring and driving actions
- Build Control dashboard for delivery of work plans
- Help develop an engagement model with the stakeholders on key deliverables with clearer roles and responsibilities and delivery plans
COO Enablement & Change
- Understanding how we enable value within the organization in the form of services and driving efficiency for mission-critical areas including cyber, information, data, privacy, and resilience
- Understanding the best practices and industry standards across Service Management and Governance activities, in providing solutions to complex issues, designing new and innovative solutions, and all in an environment that demands being risk-aware, not risk-averse
- Understanding the use of data-driven insights and analytics that drive innovation and transformation at scale while improving the operational resilience of the Bank.
- Understanding how we support our people in TDR with the People Engagement Program by sharing bank-wide programs and delivering improvements across core focus areas
- Understanding the strategy behind developing trust and consistency in communications to improve client/end-user experiences across TDR
- Understanding how we empower our people in improving the way they work and achieving the Bank’s strategic priorities through new Ways of Working (nWoW)
Data Management & Privacy
- This business function was set up to uplift the bank’s data and privacy practices. The Data & Privacy Operations Transformation Programme is a dedicated book of work to do this. The tentative roles could be:
- Understand the different aspects of data and privacy principles that need to be applied to enable the bank to be group privacy standard compliant
- Understand how to manage stakeholder requirements and expectations while designing and implementing business solutions
- Learn how to use data analytics while reviewing as-is state.
- Apply the data and privacy principles in a day to day operations with respective businesses, functions, regions, and countries
- Implement data and privacy processes and tools (e.g.: privacy impact assessments)
Training and Awareness
Work directly with the T&A team leads and their respective teams in support of any of their areas: general awareness campaigns, targeted training, enablement, data privacy awareness, operational resilience training and awareness as well as awareness risk management, operations, and reporting
- Learn how the T&A team is structured and understand its role in TDR and the Bank, its governance, processes, and risk reporting cycle
- Understand how training and awareness is designed, developed, deployed, and delivered to employees (campaigns, targeted training, mandatory e-learning, learning journeys on discovering, intranet)
- Understand the role of the T&A team in collaboration with key stakeholders on client and vendor awareness and training
- Understand how T&A risk is managed through the effectiveness of key controls, key risk indicators, and other associated risk metrics
- Understand how T&A strategic objectives are aligned to strategic, tactical, and operational metrics and initiatives
- Contribute to T&A team efficiency/automation initiatives
