Job Description

Role Purpose

This role will help review and identify opportunities to enhance Centralised and Regional HR Services processes. We are looking for a resource who is passionate to learn, possesses strong interpersonal and analytical skills in a cross-functional scaling environment. He/she will help to formalize and streamline current internal processes and help diagnose and improve existing processes. To be able to interact with peers and stakeholders fluently & contribute meaningfully.

Key responsibilities

  • Should be able to drive meaningful analysis from productivity dashboard, build metrics & KPI’s for QBR presentations.
  • Understands information and leverages the right experts as needed for assistance. Effectively analyses information and presents it accurately and effectively. Can assimilate and present key takeaways and conclusions.
  • Improve HR Services processes, including identification of problems and opportunities for enhancement of process parameters, definition and assessment of improvement options, and execution for the respective initiatives.
  • Understands the functional landscape and is always on the look-out for ways to doing things more effectively
  • Conduct and/or implement best practices in managing the Centralised HR Services support
  • Manage tracking and reporting of service delivery in the HR Shared Services Team according to agreed KPI’s/SLAs and other measures agreed
  • To build a strong document governance system that is easy to track, review & manage various knowledge articles/process documents for all CHRS processes
  • Partnering with other functions to ensure policy and procedures are streamlined, written, and communicated to the appropriate parties
  • To champion VMware’s core values. Should be able to actively participate & contribute in global, APJ & India specific HR programs
  • Considers department-wide connections and impacts. Asks questions to understand potential impacts. Manages stakeholders in their immediate line of sight. Understands why impacts occur as they occur

Experience/Skill Requirements

  • A postgraduate qualification in Business Management with a specialization in HRM
  • Should possess strong MS Office skills such as Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams & any collaborative tool
  • Keenness to learn and gain experience in a fast-paced and growing technology company
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment with limited guidance
  • Ability to manage high workloads & conflicting priorities
  • Embraces change positively
  • Collaborative style and a good team player.
