      Your opportunity

      We’re looking for a recent graduates with a degree in Commerce, Business (majoring in Accounting) or with a dual degree in Arts, IT, Economics, Science, Law or Engineering to join our Tax - Transfer Pricing Team in Melbourne. Our specialist Tax team led by nine Partners, work together to provide effective solutions and expertise to our clients with experience in Corporate & International Tax, Private Business Tax Consulting, Expatriate and Employment Taxes, Indirect Taxes, R&D Tax and Government Incentives and Transfer Pricing.

      This role provides you with an opportunity to build on your technical experience and increase your client ownership. Working closely with the Partners and Managers, the role will involve a mix of compliance and tax advisory engagements, across national and international clients in diverse industries.

      Required

      • The Graduate will have completed at Commerce or Business degree with an accounting major at an approved tertiary institution.
      • The Graduate will have a strong practical knowledge of debits and credits and an aptitude for numbers.
      • The Graduate must demonstrate a keen interest and desire to develop their knowledge.
      • The Graduate must have the ability to work as part of a team and in some instances, act as a buddy.
      • In completing their required tasks, the Graduate must be able to identify any issues for discussion with the appropriate Manager or senior member of staff.
      • The Graduate must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to develop a good working relationship with staff and clients.
      • The Graduate must have good time management skills and be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines for a variety of clients.
      • The Graduate will present professionally and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will be consistently used in dealings with Partners, staff members and clients.
      • Ideally, the Graduate will have prior experience with the Microsoft suite of packages (e.g. Word and Excel) and display an aptitude for working with computers.
