About Athena Ventures

Athena Ventures helps students and first-time founders launch their own startups. Our mission is to guide 1 million students through the journey of building impactful businesses from scratch. We offer hands-on support, expert mentorship, and funding opportunities, making entrepreneurship accessible and achievable for young founders.

Your Role

As a Founder in the Athena Ventures program, you’ll create and launch your own startup. You’ll work closely with our team to develop your idea, build a product, and bring it to market. We provide you with a dedicated product team, expert guidance, and investor connections to help you succeed. Whether you have a clear idea or are still exploring, Athena Ventures will work as your co-founder every step of the way.

Training, Development & Rotations

Through our 6-month fully remote and global program, you’ll learn everything from product design to customer validation and investor pitching. Weekly mentorship sessions, hands-on product development, and business strategy support are all part of the experience. You’ll also join group coaching sessions and connect with successful founders who share real-world insights and advice.

Salary & Benefits

We match your current salary for six months, allowing you to focus entirely on building your startup. Additionally, we provide up to $50,000 in funding for your venture, and you retain 93% of your company’s equity. For Singapore-based founders, we also help you apply for matching government grants.

Career Progression

This role is designed to put you on a fast track to becoming a CEO of your own company. With our step-by-step support, many founders gain traction, secure initial customers, and establish their companies during the program. After the 6 months, you’ll be equipped to grow your startup independently, with the knowledge and skills to seek further funding if desired.
